DRUG REHABILITATION CENTRE

This proposal has won the 1st Prize of the Hong Kong Young Architect Award 2009.

This Drug Rehabilitation Centre has focused in the mental, physical and finally the career preparation needs within the rehabilitation process.  The design integrates the rehabilitation process into the specific spatial quality that can be created by the natural environment including the water, mountain and light.  Apart from the spatial planning and setting, the entire form of the Centre also sits in harmony with the natural hilly landscape; it simply creates a new costal line smoothly.
